Homemade Baked Macaroni & Cheese Recipe

An easy and delicious macaroni and cheese recipe! You could add tuna, ground beef or even bacon for a protein rich recipe, or some chili powder for a mexican style mac & cheese!

  • 1 lb cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup grated cheddar
  • 1/2 package (6 oz) cottage cheese
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack or “Mexican flavored” grated cheese
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt & pepper
  1. On medium-low heat, melt the butter in a saucepan, then add the flour gradually while stirring
  2. Pour the milk gradually, constantly stirring
  3. Add the cheese gradually, stirring
  4. Add the macaroni
  5. *Optional: You can sprinkle some more grated cheese and bake at 375 °F for 15-20 minutes
