Easy Onion Blade Pot Roast Recipe
A tasty and clever way to cook your blade roast. Could be cooked using a slow cooker (crock pot). Serve with brown sauce and mashed potatoes. Could be done using a roast beef.
Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 2 hours
4 servings
- 2 lb blade boast
- 1 dry onion soup mix
- 1 diced onion
- Water
- Pepper
- Brown each sides of your piece of blade roast in a dutch oven for 2-3 minutes
- Add water until it reaches the top of your piece of meat
- Add the soup mix and diced onion then stir with the water
- Add pepper to your convenience
- Bake covered at 350°F for 1 ½ hours then uncover for an other 20-30 minutes
- Always pay attention to your roast, make sure the water does not evaporate completely.
