Easy Onion Blade Pot Roast Recipe

A tasty and clever way to cook your blade roast. Could be cooked using a slow cooker (crock pot). Serve with brown sauce and mashed potatoes. Could be done using a roast beef.

  • 2 lb blade boast
  • 1 dry onion soup mix
  • 1 diced onion
  • Water
  • Pepper
  1. Brown each sides of your piece of blade roast in a dutch oven for 2-3 minutes
  2. Add water until it reaches the top of your piece of meat
  3. Add the soup mix and diced onion then stir with the water
  4. Add pepper to your convenience
  5. Bake covered at 350°F for 1 ½ hours then uncover for an other 20-30 minutes
  6. Always pay attention to your roast, make sure the water does not evaporate completely.
