Easy Smooth Ground Beef Pie Recipe

A bottomless ground beef pie with a smooth crust. Could be baked using ground turkey, pork or veal for a more healthy recipe. Serve with a brown sauce or tomato sauce and mashed potatoes

  • 3 tablespoons grease
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup floor
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • water
  1. Preheat oven at 475° F
  2. Mix the floor, grease, celery salt, milk, paprika and baking powder to make the dough and add a bit of water. Stir it gently until it gets very malleable, add more water if needed. Reserve
  3. Heat the olive oil in a pan, then brown the meat with onion
  4. Pour the tomato soup and cook for 5 minutes
  5. Add salt pepper to your convenience
  6. Pour the mix into a large and deep pan
  7. Pour the dough over it and spread it gently with a fork, don't mix it with the meat
  8. Bake for 20 minutes
