Easy Homemade Beef Bourguignon Recipe

A hearty and comforting beef stew. This quick and easy classic beef bourguignon recipe could be cooked in a slow cooker (crock pot) too. My Childs love it.

  • 2 lb beef cubes
  • 1-2 diced onions
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 10-12 small mushrooms
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 cup of red wine
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt & pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. In a dutch oven, brown the beef, onion and garlic for 3 minutes
  3. Add tomato paste and stir
  4. Pour the flour gently and stir with the thyme, salt & pepper
  5. Add the mushrooms
  6. Add the beef broth and wine
  7. Bake for around 2 hours
