Easy Bologna Stew Recipe
This homemade bologna & potato stew recipe is simple, cheap and delicious. Use either chicken or beef bologna. Can be cooked with a slow cooker (crock pot)
Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 45 minutes
6-8 servings
- 1 lb bologna
- 3 onions, diced
- 6-7 medium size potatoes, diced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons pepper
- water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- In a large sauce pan, fry the bologna and onions in butter for 5 minutes.
- Add the potatoes and mix them with the bologna and onions.
- Add salt and pepper
- Add water until it reaches the top of your mix and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and cook for 45 minutes semi-covered, on low heat, until water turns into a thick syrup. Stir from time to time.
