Easy Chop Suey Recipe (beef)

Ground beef, bean sprouts and vegetables cooked in an oriental seasonning. You could use pork, chicken or tofu instead of beef.

  • 1 lb diced ground beef
  • 1 lb bean sprouts
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup julienned carrots
  • 1/2 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons dehydrated beef broth
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 tablespoon basilic
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  1. Heat oil on medium heat in a large skillet and cook the ground beef thoroughly for 8-10 minutes and reserve.
  2. Cook the vegetables, except the bean sprouts, on high heat for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the beef and add the rest of the ingredients. Cook for 5 more minutes.
