Easy French Canadian Breakfast Recipe

3 types of meat, onion, green bell peppers, eggs and sauce. Typical french canadian food. A breakfast recipe you must try.

  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 small pork sausages
  • 1/2 cup ham, chopped
  • 1/4 cup bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium size onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cooked potatoes, cubed
  • 1/2 cup Hollandaise sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter and cook the 3 types of meat for 10 minutes. Reserve. At the same time, prepare your hollandaise sauce.
  2. Cook the vegies for 8 minutes then mix the meat in and cook for 2 more minutes. Reserve. Meanwhile, cook your 2 eggs over easy.
  3. Spread the mix in a deep dish, pour the hollandaise sauce, lay the eggs over the rest. Enjoy!
  4. Note: A hollandaise sauce mix will give more than 1/2 cup of sauce, you can reserve the rest of the sauce for later of prepare this dish for more than one person!
