Easy French Toast Recipe

A classic recipe for french toast, my kid's favorite! Top with maple syrup or melted chocolate. Use whole wheat bread for a healthy version of this traditional recipe.

  • 6 thick slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon groung nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  1. Beat all the ingredients (except bread) together in a large bowl.
  2. Dip your slices of bread in the mixture for 15-20 seconds.
  3. Cook 2-3 minutes on both sides in a large pan.
  4. Serve with maple syrup, corn syrup, or brown sugar
