Easy French Toast Recipe
A classic recipe for french toast, my kid's favorite! Top with maple syrup or melted chocolate. Use whole wheat bread for a healthy version of this traditional recipe.

- 6 thick slices of bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon groung nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Beat all the ingredients (except bread) together in a large bowl.
- Dip your slices of bread in the mixture for 15-20 seconds.
- Cook 2-3 minutes on both sides in a large pan.
- Serve with maple syrup, corn syrup, or brown sugar
