Homemade Lemon Butter Cookies Recipe
The perfect cookie to couple with a cup of tea. Maybe not that healthy but you could replace butter with margarine ans salt, but the taste would not be the same. The same cookie could be made with orange instead of lemon.

About 20 cookies
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespons lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Beat sugar with butter and eggs until smooth in a large bowl.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir thoroughly.
- Using waxed paper, make a cylinder form with the dough and place it in refrigerator for an hour.
- Slice the dough and bake the cookies on a greased baking sheet for 10 minutes.
