Italian Sausage Omelet With Cheese Recipe

A spicy omelet with italian sausage and cheese. Can be cooked (or baked) with either mild, hot, medium, or sweet italian sausage. This is a low carb omelet recipe.

Preparation: 10 minutes

  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 italian sausages
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
  2. Cook the sausages in boiling water for 15 minutes. Then slice them.
  3. Meanwhile, sweat the vegetables in a large, oven compatible pan, over medium heat.
  4. Beat the eggs and milk.
  5. Add the sausages and cheddar cheese in the pan then pour the eggs. Cook 5 minutes.
  6. Spread the mozzarella cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
