Italian Sausage Omelet With Cheese Recipe
A spicy omelet with italian sausage and cheese. Can be cooked (or baked) with either mild, hot, medium, or sweet italian sausage. This is a low carb omelet recipe.

- 8 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 italian sausages
- 1 cup red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
- Cook the sausages in boiling water for 15 minutes. Then slice them.
- Meanwhile, sweat the vegetables in a large, oven compatible pan, over medium heat.
- Beat the eggs and milk.
- Add the sausages and cheddar cheese in the pan then pour the eggs. Cook 5 minutes.
- Spread the mozzarella cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
