Tomato Florentine Soup Recipe

An easy italian style tomato soup recipe. The mix of different spices gives a truly unique taste to this soup. Use fresh tomatoes instead of canned tomatoes for a tastier recipe. Add some lemon and clam juice or for a different taste.

  • 2 (8 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bunch fresh spinach, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons italian seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper
  1. In a large cooking pot, heat some olive oil and saute onion with garlic for a couple minutes over medium heat.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil.
  3. Simmer for 25-30 minutes.
