Tuscan Beef Stew Recipe
An Italian-style beef stew with white wine. Beef may be replaced with chicken or pork, for a different recipe. You may also use red wine. Serve with potatoes, carrots and a fresh bread slice.

- 2 pounds cubed beef
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cup sliced onion
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablepoons basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt & Pepper
- In a large cooking pot, brown the meat in butter over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Add the vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the liquid ingredients, then combine flour gradually while strirring.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and bake at 350F for 2 hours.
